Work Pattern: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
PAYE Pay Rate: Β£22.24 per hour
Role Purpose
To process Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), appeals and representations in line with the Traffic Management Act 2004 and relevant legislation. The role also supports parking suspensions, waivers, reconciliations and customer enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and investigate PCN challenges, representations and appeals.
- Prepare cases for London Tribunals and attend hearings where required.
- Manage PCN enforcement within statutory timescales.
- Authorise parking bay suspensions and temporary waivers.
- Assist with PCN, Pay & Display and permit reconciliations/refunds.
- Liaise with customers, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Support service improvements and general Parking Service duties.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and parking legislation.
- Experience in parking enforcement/PCN processing.
- Strong investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Excel and databases.
