Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm or 8:00am–4:00pm
Job Purpose
To maintain the cemetery grounds to a high standard, ensuring the site is clean, tidy, and respectful for visitors, while also assisting with burial‑related duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general grounds maintenance across the cemetery
- Use equipment such as mowers, strimmers, and hand tools
- Maintain grass, paths, hedges, and general site appearance
- Assist with burial preparations and interments as part of a team
- Support safe and respectful operations within the cemetery grounds
- Carry out basic equipment checks and report any issues
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
