Main Purpose:
To provide technical and administrative support for housing licensing, ensuring properties meet relevant standards, licensing requirements and Council procedures.
Typical Day
- Process and assess housing licence applications.
- Inspect properties and identify breaches or hazards.
- Provide advice to landlords, tenants and housing professionals.
- Investigate complaints and non-compliance.
- Prepare reports, notices and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate licensing and inspection records.
- Liaise with landlords, residents and internal Council teams.
- Support enforcement and follow-up actions where required.

- Good IT, administration and report-writing skills.
- Experience working with landlords, tenants and other stakeholders.
