Job Purpose

To support the Notice Processing Team in the review and administration of Parking Charge Notices (PCNs), specifically by handling and responding to representations submitted by motorists. The role ensures all cases are processed accurately, fairly, and in line with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review written representations (appeals) submitted by motorists in relation to issued PCNs
  • Assess supporting evidence such as photographs, system records, and case documentation
  • Apply relevant parking regulations, policies, and guidelines to determine case outcomes
  • Draft clear, professional responses informing motorists of decisions (acceptance or rejection of representations)
  • Update and maintain accurate records on case management systems
  • Ensure all cases are processed within required timescales and deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to obtain or clarify information where needed
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all decisions and written correspondence

Person Specification

Working Arrangement
