Basildon Borough Council is seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to work within our communications and events team. You will ensure the safe and effective delivery of events of different sizes and to different audiences, providing support to our partners and communities to deliver their events.

You will have the ability to motivate individuals, give clear direction and support projects with bespoke plans to enable the events programme to be innovative, creative and delivered to a high standard. You will be experienced in event staff and volunteer management, community and commercial event planning, IOSH compliance and dealing with customers and partners effectively and professionally, so will require excellent organisation, customer service and negotiation skills.
