Working Pattern: Office Based, 37 hour per week, Mon-Fri

PAYE Pay Rate: Β£18.59 per hour

Main Purpose of the Role

To support complex criminal investigations by conducting investigative actions, gathering evidence, supporting victims and witnesses, and progressing lines of enquiry to help establish the facts of each case.

Typical Day

  • Conduct investigative enquiries and follow allocated lines of enquiry.
  • Interview and support victims and witnesses, including vulnerable adults.
  • Obtain witness statements and gather evidence.
  • Collect, secure and submit evidence for forensic examination.
  • Secure and review CCTV and other relevant evidence.
  • Prepare accurate case files for court.
  • Work closely with Detectives, Criminal Investigators and other partners.
  • Manage workloads and complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and use relevant IT systems.
