Carrik Care Ltd. is recruiting skilled, caring and dependable Registered Nurses to work in nursing homes across Belfast, Derry/Londonderry, Limavady, Armagh, Omagh and the surrounding areas. You will work alongside care staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your clinical skills while making a genuine difference to residents' comfort, dignity and quality of life.
MAIN DUTIES
- Assessing residents' health and care needs
- Developing, reviewing and updating individual care plans
- Administering medication safely and maintaining accurate records
- Monitoring residents and responding to changes in their condition
- Carrying out appropriate clinical and nursing procedures
- Providing compassionate end-of-life and palliative care when required
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, GPs and other healthcare professionals
- Leading and supporting care assistants during each shift
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes and completing required documentation
- Following safeguarding, infection-control and health-and-safety procedures
- Promoting residents' dignity, independence, privacy and wellbeing
- Ensuring care meets professional, regulatory and organisational standards
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Confidence in leading and supporting care staff
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow clinical procedures
- The right to work in the UK.
