We are seeking a quality inspector to work with multifunctional teams to ensure products are delivered to meet costs, quality and schedule in a multinational manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Aerospace experience
- Carrying out product inspections and Quality Control / Quality Assurance activities
- Ensuring product compliance with design, customer and regulatory authority requirements and regulations
- Providing instruction and advice to operators as required
- Monitoring the Delegated Operator Scheme
- Working flexibly in groups and on shifts
- Writing technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigate investigation and corrective action
Requirements
- Applicants must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years relevant post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environment
- An ONC or equivalent qualification is desirable; however, applicants with lesser qualifications and additional relevant knowledge and experience will be considered
- The ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and to communicate effectively is essential
- Candidates must be familiar with quality control requirements and have at least 3 years of previous experience in the aerospace industry
