Overview
Mydas Recruitment are experts in the sourcing and supply of Engineers to leading organisations. We have an exciting new contract role available for a capital projects engineer, based in Belfast. The successful candidate will work with multifunctional teams to manage budgets, infrastructure & investing in future technologies.
Responsibilities
- Experience from the manufacturing sector
- Preparing installation plans and leading full equipment validation
- Manage stakeholder expectations internally and externally
- Owning the integration and vertical start-up of new equipment
- Ensuring training plans and competency assessments are completed
- Minimising disruption to ongoing operations during integration activities
- Prepare and adhere to project budget
- Build and train the right team for the project
- Efficiently acquire and manage project resources
- Design work plans based on project requirements and team expertise
- Ensuring all equipment meets EHS requirements, international standards, and company policies
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum HNC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services or Engineering discipline
- Detail-oriented with the ability to create project plans and schedules
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering systems
- Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office
- Knowledge of H&S compliance, risk assessment, and CDM2015
