Carriera is excited to partner with a property & construction consultancy who operate throughout London and the South East. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Senior CDM/ H&S Advisor to provide a CDM advisor service to their clients within the built environment.
The successful post holder will be tasked with Principal designer/CDM Advisory duties and have great client facing skills, to develop and maintain current client relationships. Our client operates across various sectors but has long standing relationships in the residential, education, commercial, healthcare, retail, leisure, local government, and industrial space. The organisation is interested in speaking with experienced and competent Senior CDM/ H&S professionals to join the team covering projects on a regional basis (this role would be based from our clients offices 3 days per week in order to develop and mentor a team of safety professionals). The organisation is ideally looking for a well-rounded H&S professional who has experience of delivering a variety of health & safety services within the property & construction sector.
Responsibilities
- Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base.
- Writing and reviewing of construction phase plans.
- Ensure that all sites are CDM compliant and the relevant documentation is in place and in date.
- Familiar with all associated documentation relating to CDM 2015 e.g CPPs, PCIs, H&S file etc.
- Growth of CDM service line and management of key clients.
- Carrying out investigations into all accidents/ incidents, fires and dangerous occurrences.
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of H&S, including CDM and Environmental legislation.
- Carry out site safety inspections and site safety audits.
About you
- NEBOSH General or Construction (minimum).
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
- Member to IOSH or APS (desirable).
- Excellent working knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations & Principal design duties.
- Full UK Driving license.
- Commercially minded.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
