The business boasts a headcount of over 300 professionals offering project management, cost management, and H&S/ CDM services to a variety of clients across the built environment. Our client operates across the super prime residential, housing, commercial, education, office, and hotel sectors with projects up to the value of £300m. They are recruiting for an ambitious Senior CDM Advisor to join a team of 3 other CDM professionals offering a variety of H&S/ CDM services. The role would suit an experienced CDM professional who has been working within a consultancy setting for several years who would like to take the next step in their career and join a business working with high profile clients such as Qatari Diar, Caudwell, housing developers, architect practices and many more. Responsibilities Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base across the built environment. Ensure that all sites are CDM compliant, and the relevant documentation is in place and in date. Deliver projects as the Principal Designer leading the Design Team in managing design risks Prepare and review key CDM documents – design risk registers, construction phase plans etc. Design risk reviews of new build, fit out and alteration projects, including fixture design reviews. Chair design and client team meetings. Compile Pre-Construction Information packs (PCI). Demonstrate a good knowledge of H&S and CDM legislation. Review risk assessments and method statements. Carryout site safety inspections and site safety audits. About you NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent). NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable). Membership to IOSH (Grad or Chartered). Membership to APS (Incorporated or Certified). Understanding and knowledge of Building Safety Act. 4 – 5 years working as a H&S/ CDM Consultant within the construction sector. Excellent knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations.
