Job Description Quantity Surveyor - Winchester \n Role: Quantity Surveyor \n Location: Winchester - Hybrid working \n Sector: Property & Construction \n Salary: Competitive + benefits package \n Carriera is working with an established property consultancy who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their Cost Management team in Winchester. \n This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who is looking for stronger career development, increased project responsibility and a clear route towards MRICS Chartership. \n The successful candidate will work across a varied portfolio of projects for established public and private sector clients, providing cost management services from initial feasibility and cost planning through to tender, construction and final account. \Structured APC support and ongoing professional development will be provided. \n Responsibilities \n \n Provide cost management services from project inception through to completion. \n Assist with the management and delivery of multiple projects. \n Undertake post-contract cost management including valuations, variations and final accounts. \n Prepare financial reports and provide regular cost updates to clients. \n Attend client, consultant and project meetings. \n Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other project stakeholders. \n \n Requirements \n \n Degree in Quantity Surveying or another relevant RICS-accredited discipline. \n Ideally 4-5 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor. \n Good understanding of construction methodologies and building elements. \n Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract. \n Confident working directly with clients and project teams. \n Comfortable using digital cost management and measurement tools. \n \n Apply \n \n Competitive salary and benefits package. \n Hybrid and agile working. \n Excellent training and professional development. \n Clear opportunities for career progression. \n Exposure to a broad portfolio of projects and clients. \n \n This role would particularly suit a Quantity Surveyor who feels their current route towards Chartership or career progression has stalled and wants to join a business that can provide the support, experience and responsibility required to take the next step. \n Carriera Limited values diversity and promotes equality and no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate against any protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010.
