Our client is expanding thier Building Regulations Principal Designer service and looking for a talented individual—whether you\’re a Building Control Surveyor, Architect, or Design Manager—to join our dynamic CDM/Principal Designer team. In this exciting role, you’ll: Deliver Building Regulations Principal Designer services across a diverse portfolio, including residential, HRBs, commercial, retail, office, data centres, and industrial sectors across the UK. Navigate the evolving landscape of the Building Safety Act, helping clients achieve building regulations compliance. Conduct building control inspections, site visits, and surveys, preparing detailed reports. Collaborate closely with Principal Designers, Principal Contractors, and other key stakeholders. Offer expert advice on building regulations and safety compliance at client and design team meetings. What We’re Looking For: A background in Building Control, Architecture, or Design Management with several years of sector experience. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interactions. Familiarity with the Building Safety Act and related legislation (BSR registration not required). Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is a plus. Membership in RICS, CABE, RIBA, CIAT, or CIOB is desirable.
