We're working with a growing multidisciplinary consultancy delivering fire engineering, fire safety, and fire strategy services across residential, commercial, education, and healthcare projects. With continued expansion in the fire engineering team, they're looking for a Junior to Mid Level Fire Engineer to support project delivery, develop technical capability, and gain experience across multiple sectors.
About the position:
- Assist senior fire engineers with fire engineering design, fire strategy reports, fire risk assessments, and fire safety consultancy.
- Support the development of fire protection solutions, code compliance reviews, performance-based design, and design-stage coordination.
- Gain hands-on experience across high-rise residential, commercial fit-out, education, and healthcare projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to deliver safe, compliant building designs.
- Receive full support toward chartership (IFE/CEng), CPD, and professional development in fire engineering.
About you:
- 1–5 years' experience as a Fire Engineer, Fire Risk Assessor, Fire Strategy Consultant, or in a related fire consultancy role.
- Degree or Master's in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Fire & Explosion Engineering, or similar discipline.
- Familiar with UK building regulations and fire safety standards, including Approved Document B, BS 9999, and BS 7974.
- Proactive, analytical, and eager to develop into a more senior fire engineering role.
- Able to work from the London office as part of career development and mentoring pathway.
- Experience in fire risk assessment, performance-based design, and multidisciplinary project delivery is highly desirable.
