Business Development Manager – Construction Consultancy London | National Remit | Excellent Salary + High Reward Bonus
Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.
An established and growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive its next phase of growth.
Employing circa 40 people across Building Surveying, Project Management and Cost Management, the business has an excellent reputation, strong client relationships and a genuinely impressive culture – demonstrated by exceptional staff retention and long-standing service across the team.
This is a high-profile growth role with real autonomy.
Based in London and working directly with the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for developing new client relationships, generating opportunities and supporting growth across the firm's regional offices and wider UK market.
The opportunity: You will:
Originate new business across the UK property and construction market.
Build relationships with developers, investors, funds, asset managers, property companies and occupiers.
Leverage your existing network to generate introductions, meetings and instructions.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell services across existing clients.
Work alongside technical Directors to convert opportunities into appointments.
Represent the consultancy at key industry events and networking opportunities.
Help shape the firm's wider business development and national growth strategy.
About you We are looking for a genuine new-business developer rather than a traditional account manager.
You will ideally bring an established network within the property or built-environment market and a track record of developing senior-level relationships and converting them into revenue.
You could come directly from a construction/property consultancy or an adjacent professional-services environment, provided you have strong relationships across the real estate sector.
In return: This is an opportunity to become a key part of an established but entrepreneurialconsultancy where your impact will be highly visible.
You'll have direct access to the leadership team, considerable freedom over how you develop the market and the backing of an experienced technical team with a strong reputation.
Most importantly, success will be rewarded.
Alongside a competitive base salary is a highly attractive, revenue-linked bonus structure offering significant earning potential.
For a well-connected business developer looking for greater autonomy, influence and financial reward, this is a compelling opportunity.
