A growing, people-focused consultancy is looking to appoint two Building Regulations Principal Designers to join their established remote team. This is an opportunity to become part of a highly collaborative business that has built its reputation on quality delivery, flexibility and long-term relationships - both with clients and employees. With a fully remote setup and genuine autonomy, the business offers an environment built around trust, accountability and professional freedom.
The team currently consists of experienced Building Regulations and CDM professionals operating across the UK, supporting a broad range of construction projects and clients.
The opportunity: You will work as a Building Regulations Principal Designer across a varied project portfolio, supporting compliance and design risk management from pre-construction through delivery. The business is particularly interested in individuals from a Building Control background who can bring practical, real-world construction knowledge and strong communication skills. Locations considered include London & the South East, South West England and the Midlands.
About you:
- Background in Building Control / Building Regulations
- Experience operating as a BR Principal Designer or within a related compliance role
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own workload
- Professional qualifications are welcomed but not essential (RICS, CABE, RIBA, MIFireE, Structural qualifications etc.)
