Are you an Assistant Project Manager looking to develop your career within a growing construction consultancy? We are working with a well-established, independent consultancy that is continuing to expand across the West Midlands and is now looking to strengthen its Birmingham team.
This is a great opportunity to work on a range of warehouse and industrial projects, supporting experienced Project Managers and Directors while gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle. You will be part of a collaborative team that encourages learning, progression and professional development.
The role:
- Support the delivery of projects across all RIBA stages, from early feasibility through to completion
- Assist with programme, cost and risk management to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Work with NEC contracts, supporting contract administration and project reporting
- Attend client and site meetings, building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide day-to-day support to senior project managers and contribute to project documentation and coordination
What we are looking for:
- Experience working within a construction consultancy, client-side, or main contractor environment
- Exposure to projects across RIBA stages (industrial or logistics experience beneficial but not essential)
- Understanding of NEC contracts (or willingness to develop knowledge)
- Working towards or interested in pursuing professional accreditation (APM, RICS or CIOB - full support provided)
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
