Commercial Leader - Major NEC Procurement Commission

Are you an experienced Commercial Leader/ Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading consultancy delivering a major procurement commission under the NEC form of contract. This prestigious role offers a chance to play a pivotal part in shaping large-scale, high-impact projects within the construction and property sector.

The Role:

  • As a Partner/Commercial Leader, you will oversee and manage the delivery of a complex procurement commission, ensuring all aspects align with the NEC framework.
  • Working closely with a high-performing team, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the procurement strategy and implementation.
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships and providing strategic commercial advice.
  • Ensuring the delivery of commercial and financial outcomes in line with project objectives.
  • Supporting pre-contract and post-contract stages, including cost planning, tender evaluations, and risk management.

About You:

  • To excel in this role, you will need:
  • Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Lead, at a senior level.
  • Proven track record of working with the NEC form of contract.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Extensive experience of procurement, negotiations and commercial risk.

In return:

  • Salary circa £100,000 - £110,000 plus extensive package and bonus.
