Chartered Building Surveyor (Client-side)
up to £80,000 p/a plus bonus & benefits package

Carriera is working on an exclusive basis with an established property investment and asset management business to appoint a client-side Building Surveyor as part of its continued growth.
This is a portfolio-focused role offering exposure to asset management, capital projects and investment-led decision-making across a varied London estate.
What your day-to-day will include:
You will be responsible for surveying and project delivery across a mixed-use portfolio, working closely with internal Property Management and Investment teams. The role is split between office-based work and site visits across Central and Greater London.
Your responsibilities:
- Managing and surveying a diverse property portfolio
- Delivering multi-scheme projects up to £15m
- Refurbishment and Cat A / Cat A+ works
- Technical due diligence and asset lifecycle planning
- Advising on building condition, risk and compliance
- Commercial, residential, retail and industrial assets
- Approx. 40% residential / 60% commercial-led workload
- Exposure to Victorian and Edwardian listed buildings
- Central London-focused estate with long-term hold strategy
About You:
- 3-7 years PQE with strong technical capability
- Experience working with traditional and listed buildings
- Comfortable operating in a client-side or consultancy environment
- Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- ESG exposure or interest is advantageous
