Carriera are working in partnership on a very exciting senior-level search for a number of strategic hires for a fantastic client of ours across a number of their key offices.
This position is for a Partner-level Building Surveyor, to be based in their Midlands office. With a substantial team of professional fee earners already in situ, this is a key investment hire, with a goal of ‘work winning’ and further business growth.
This position, therefore, is for a ‘partner-level’ Building Surveyor, who has strong business acumen, and a commercial, entrepreneurial mindset. The team already services a variety of assets, these include estates, commercial, residential, education, retail, healthcare premises and insurance work. You will be expected to be heavily involved in key client development, financial forecasting, team management and growth.
The Role:
- Hands on delivery of building surveying services lines, inclusive of the full project life cycle and technical offering.
- Leading projects often co-ordinating in house multi discipline design services.
- Nurturing existing client relationships and further business development.
- Supervising, managing and mentoring junior members of the building surveying team.
- Technical reviews to manage the quality of all services.
About you:
- MRICS qualified (Building Surveying pathway)
- Proven track record of business development
- Team management experience
- Be an analytical team player, able to demonstrate strong commercial leadership.
