Our client is a long-established, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, providing building surveying, quantity surveying, project management, architecture and related services across a wide range of sectors.
The Senior Chartered Building Surveyor will be responsible for:
- Managing and delivering a range of professional instructions, including:
- Building condition surveys and technical due diligence
- Defect diagnosis and building pathology reports
- Dilapidations (landlord and tenant)
- Schedules of condition and planned maintenance surveys
- Party wall and neighbourly matters
- Refurbishment, repair and alteration projects across residential, commercial, education and healthcare sectors
- Feasibility studies, options appraisals and budget cost advice
- Preparing specifications and schedules of work
- Acting as Contract Administrator / Employer’s Agent on a variety of schemes
Clients include local authorities, housing associations, education providers, commercial owners / occupiers, healthcare organisations and private clients.
Candidate Profile
- Be a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with solid post‑qualification experience
- Have a proven track‑record delivering both professional and project work
- Possess strong technical knowledge, report‑writing ability and client‑facing skills
- Be organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple instructions
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary environment
Salary & Package
Salary: up to £70,000 depending on experience
