This is one of those rare roles where the growth plan is already in place—you just need to take the reins. I’m working with a dynamic, independently-owned property consultancy with a proper track record of developing leaders internally. They’re looking for an Associate Building Surveyor to head up a small but high-performing team covering both commercial and residential portfolios.
Core mix of project and professional duties, with a lot of autonomy to shape how you deliver. You’ll be mentoring Surveyors (a couple of whom are on their APC journey), overseeing delivery, and getting stuck into a broad workload across private clients, developers, and investors. The culture is sharp, agile, and growth-focused—not somewhere you’ll feel boxed in.
Here’s the hook: There’s a clear, short-term route to Directorship—no waiting games, no hierarchy to climb. You’ll be part of the strategic growth plan from day one, with a seat at the table and a voice in how the business scales.
What they’re after:
- MRICS with team leadership experience
- Comfortable delivering both project and professional work
- Ambitious, commercial, and client-led in your approach
- Wants more than a “steady” role—this is for someone thinking long-term
Drop me a message if you’d like the full brief or want to talk it through off the record.
