Chartered Building Surveyor – Commercial
Location: Leeds

The business combines the agility and personable feel of a close-knit practice with the infrastructure, client base and delivery standards of a multi-office consultancy. Due to continued growth, the Leeds office is seeking an ambitious Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse commercial portfolio while gaining exposure to significant clients and high-level instructions.
The Opportunity
- Delivery of core professional building surveying advice across commercial assets
- Project work ranging from refurbishments and fit-outs to wider capital expenditure schemes
- Building surveys, condition surveys and technical due diligence
- Dilapidations for both landlords and tenants
- Planned preventative maintenance strategies and lifecycle reporting
- Direct client engagement and management of your own instructions
- Work across office, industrial and retail properties
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues across the wider regional network
This role offers hands-on experience, responsibility and direct client exposure from day one.
About You
- MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
- 0–3 years PQE, ideally within a consultancy environment
- Experience across commercial property sectors (office, industrial and/or retail)
- Confident delivering both professional and project-based work
- Client-facing, proactive and technically adept
