An outstanding opportunity has been created for an ambitious Associate Director, Chartered Quantity Surveyor to take a genuine leadership role within a highly regarded property consultancy in Cambridge.

Our client is an established and well respected consultancy with an excellent local reputation, strong public and private sector presence, providing access to key frameworks, as well as a secure platform and mentorship for growth.

Due to continued success, they are looking to appoint a Associate level Quantity Surveyor with the ambition, drive and commercial mindset to help shape and grow the business.

This is more than a traditional QS role.

It is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a team around them, influence strategy, develop services and play a key role in the future direction of the business.

The successful candidate will be given the autonomy, support and backing to develop a regional offering, with clear progression into senior leadership and the opportunity to earn shares/equity through high performance and contribution to growth.

The role

  • Lead and deliver consultancy Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Network locally and identify new business opportunities
  • Support and lead pitches and presentations
  • Contribute ideas around market growth and service development
  • Help recruit, mentor and develop a growing team
  • Work closely with Directors on business strategy and expansion
  • Delivery cost consultancy services, feasibility studies, cost plans, procurement routes, tender analysis, contract awards, contract administration etc...

Abot you

  • MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor
  • Operating at Senior QS or Associate level
  • Commercially minded with strong client-facing skills
  • Comfortable networking, identifying and winning work
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial in approach
  • Keen to take on leadership responsibility
