Associate Project Manager
London
£80,000 – £100,000 + package
I\’m working with a growing and well-regarded construction consultancy in London that is looking to appoint an Associate Project Manager to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager looking to step into a senior leadership role, taking ownership of key client relationships and delivering complex development and refurbishment projects across London. The business has built a strong reputation across the commercial, residential, mixed-use and industrial sectors, and continues to win repeat work from a loyal client base.
You’ll play a key role in leading projects from early-stage feasibility and design through to delivery on site, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure schemes are delivered successfully.
The role
- Leading the delivery of projects from early feasibility and briefing stages through to completion
- Managing and coordinating consultant teams, contractors and wider project stakeholders
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and maintaining strong working relationships
- Overseeing procurement strategies, tender processes and contract administration
- Managing project programmes, budgets and risk throughout the project lifecycle
- Leading project meetings and providing clear reporting on programme, risk and financial progress
- Supporting negotiations with third parties where required including neighbourly matters or statutory processes
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members as part of a collaborative team environment
About you
- Around 7+ years’ experience delivering construction projects within a construction consultancy, client-side organisation or developer
- RICS, CIOB, APM Chartered
- A strong track record delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages
- Good understanding of JCT contracts, procurement strategies and post-contract project delivery
- Experience managing project teams and maintaining strong client relationships
- Exposure to sectors such as commercial real estate, residential, workplace, mixed‑use or industrial
