We’re supporting a major long-term property investor across a diverse commercial and residential portfolio. This is a senior-level role with genuine variety, combining professional surveying services with project delivery across refurbishment, maintenance, and redevelopment schemes. You’ll be stepping into a trusted position within a small, high-performing team where autonomy and technical input are genuinely valued.
The Role
- Leading refurbishment and redevelopment projects as PM / Contract Administrator / Employer’s Agent
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation (NBS experience useful)
- Managing tender processes and contractor engagement through to appointment
- Producing and negotiating schedules of dilapidations (primarily landlord-side)
- Undertaking defect diagnosis and building surveys across residential and commercial assets
- Reviewing tenant alterations and carrying out post-completion inspections
- Preparing PPM reports and capital expenditure forecasts
- Producing schedules of condition for leases and party wall matters
- Acting as Party Wall Surveyor where required
- Advising on compliance, including building safety and energy efficiency considerations
About You
- MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
- 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Strong grounding in private practice or client-side environments
- Confident managing your own workload with minimal supervision
- Comfortable across both professional services and project delivery
- Strong communicator with clients, tenants, and contractors
