About the Role

We’re working with a growing science and technology company building an exciting research campus in Oxford. They’re looking for a hands-on Repair & Maintenance Technician to help keep their buildings, labs, and equipment running smoothly day to day. This is a great opportunity for someone with practical skills who enjoys problem-solving and wants to develop their career in a modern, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and fabric works
  • Diagnose and resolve faults across building systems and equipment
  • Support maintenance in regulated environments (labs/clinical areas)
  • Collaborate with contractors and internal teams across multiple sites
  • Ensure all work meets health & safety and compliance standards

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in a maintenance, handyperson, or multi-trade role
  • Basic skills across building maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting)
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience

  • Trade certification (electrical, plumbing, or similar)
  • Experience working in laboratory, healthcare, or other regulated environments
