About the position
As an Employer’s Agent, you’ll play a key role in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery for their clients. You’ll oversee contractor performance, manage budgets, and navigate contracts while providing expert advice throughout the project lifecycle. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Support pre- and post-contract client, developer, and contractor meetings, taking and issuing minutes promptly.
- Review drawings and specifications from contractors and developers, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Assist in compiling specifications and tender documents, including Employer's Requirements.
- Coordinate specialist surveys and tasks with other project-related consultants.
- Monitor construction projects to ensure compliance with planning conditions, building control, and warranty providers' requirements.
- Oversee progress with adoption agreements related to highways, drainage, and off-site works obligations.
- Prepare and maintain a master programme, tracking principal activities and critical dates from concept to completion.
- Assist in the execution of Contract Documents, Performance Bonds, and Warranties.
- Provide audit information, including schedules of accommodation, floor areas, life cycle cost calculations, and insurance re-building costings.
- Conduct on-site inspections, including pre-handover snagging.

- Experience as an Employer’s Agent or in a related role (QS, PM, Building Surveying)
- Strong knowledge of residential development and contract administration
