As a Senior Building Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of both professional and project-based instructions. Your workload will include dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration, refurbishment management, and planned maintenance. You’ll act as a key point of contact for clients, providing strategic and technical advice while ensuring successful project outcomes.
Typical projects include office refurbishments for investment funds, industrial reconfigurations for logistics occupiers, school redevelopment feasibility studies, and residential-to-commercial conversions within mixed-use portfolios. You’ll also play a key role in supporting and mentoring junior surveyors, contributing to business development, and strengthening client relationships across the South East.
The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified (or approaching qualification) with solid experience across both professional and project work. You’ll demonstrate strong client-facing ability, excellent technical knowledge, and a commercial mindset that enables you to identify and deliver opportunities effectively.
