Established over 40 years ago, the firm employs over 200 construction professionals offering services including building surveying, project management, cost management, architecture, and H&S/CDM across the built environment.
Following the recent launch of their dedicated CDM/H&S department, the business is seeking a H&S/CDM Advisor to support a diverse portfolio of projects spanning residential (public sector), education, healthcare, commercial, regeneration, and local authority sectors across London and the Southeast. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious H&S professional to join a respected consultancy during a period of growth. The role is ideal for those with consultancy experience providing CDM 2015 advice, or for H&S professionals from a contractor background looking to transition into consultancy.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a range of H&S services to clients across the built environment.
- Manage H&S files, review construction phase plans, maintain pre-construction information, and conduct design risk reviews.
- Attend client and design team meetings to provide risk-related advice.
- Act as a CDM Advisor to clients, ensuring all project RAMS are in place.
- Carry out site safety inspections and audits.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
- Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable).
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of CDM 2015 regulations and associated documentation.
- Minimum 2 years’ H&S experience within the property & construction sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competitive salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (DOE).
