We are representing a leading consultancy that collaborates with a major developer and asset manager specialising in the commercial and industrial sectors.
Operating across the UK, the consultancy offers a comprehensive range of services, managing a portfolio exceeding 15 million sq. ft and over 800 tenants. They work closely with institutions, financial partners, and occupiers to deliver exceptional results.
The Role:
The consultancy is seeking a senior building surveyor or associate to work alongside a team of 4 chartered building surveyors. This hybrid position involves spending approximately 70% of your time on consultancy responsibilities and 30% client side.
Projects will span the UK and include a mix of dilapidations, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and project work. Some project examples include:
- Project monitoring a 300,000 sq ft new-build industrial unit in East Anglia for a FTSE 250 company.
- Managing multiple dilapidations claims on behalf of asset managers and investors in Manchester and Bedfordshire.
About You:
- Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with substantial commercial experience.
- Strong expertise in both client-side and consultancy aspects of building surveying.
- Proven ability to handle challenging negotiations and deliver top-tier advice to clients.
- Experience managing a team would be highly beneficial.
