Associate Partner - Project Management

London | Construction Consultancy

£80,000 - £90,000

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for the opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role within a growing construction consultancy?

We're working with an established, independent construction consultancy that has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality project management and cost consultancy services across the UK. Their success has been built on developing long-term client relationships, delivering projects to an exceptional standard and creating an environment where their people are trusted, supported and given the opportunity to progress.

Unlike many larger consultancies, this is a business where you'll have genuine autonomy, direct access to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to influence the direction of the team. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued investment in their London office, they're now looking to appoint an Associate Partner to help lead and grow their Project Management team.

Healthcare is one of their strongest sectors, delivering a variety of new build, refurbishment and estate improvement projects for NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys complex, meaningful projects that positively impact communities.

The Role

As an Associate Partner, you'll play a key role in both project delivery and the continued growth of the business. You'll lead major healthcare projects from inception through to completion while acting as a trusted advisor to clients, developing new business opportunities and mentoring junior members of the team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the successful delivery of healthcare projects across all RIBA stages.
  • Managing client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Leading multidisciplinary consultant teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Providing strategic project advice from feasibility through to completion.
  • Supporting business development activities and identifying opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Mentoring and developing junior Project Managers within the team.
  • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the London office.

About You

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

  • A proven background working within a construction consultancy in a Project Management role.
  • Significant experience delivering healthcare projects within the built environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the full project lifecycle and construction process.
  • Strong client-facing, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • MRICS or MCIOB chartership (or be working towards achieving it).
  • A commercial mindset with the ambition to help grow both clients and the wider business.

What's on Offer?

In return, you'll be joining a consultancy that genuinely values its people and offers clear progression opportunities within a collaborative, supportive environment.

You'll benefit from:

  • A genuine pathway towards Partner level.
  • The opportunity to work on high-profile healthcare projects.
  • A collaborative, close-knit team with real autonomy and responsibility.
  • Competitive salary and performance-related bonus.
  • Hybrid and flexible working.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Professional membership fees paid.
  • Ongoing professional development and CPD support.
  • The chance to play a key role in shaping the future growth of a successful consultancy.

Please Note

This position is only open to candidates with previous construction consultancy experience. Applicants whose background is solely with contractors, developers or client-side organisations without consultancy experience will unfortunately not be considered.
