Job Description

We are working with a leading construction and property organisation on the appointment of a Project Manager to establish the PMO function for a major development.

This role is focused on the early stages of the project lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on project controls and data capture. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing robust programme, cost, and reporting information to support the wider project team as the development moves forward.

The position would suit a Project Manager operating at Associate level, with experience working in a PMO or project controls environment on large or complex construction or development projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting early-stage project setup within the PMO
  • Capturing and managing programme and cost data
  • Supporting planning, risk, and change control processes
  • Producing accurate reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders
  • Working closely with planners, cost managers, and delivery teams
  • Helping embed consistent project controls and governance processes
  • Build the function and capability

Candidates should have:

  • Experience as a Project Manager with strong project controls exposure
  • Background in PMO or controls-focused project environments
  • Experience on major developments or large-scale construction projects
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with complex data
  • The ability to work effectively with senior and multidisciplinary stakeholders

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project at an early stage, offering a salary of up to £80,000 plus allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.

If you are an Associate-level Project Manager looking to step into a significant early-stage PMO role, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.
