For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier. ## Role OverviewAs a **Technical Support Advisor**, based in **Stockport**, you will provide high-quality technical support to installers, dealers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring an excellent customer experience while supporting the continued success of Carrier and Toshiba Residential and Light Commercial Systems .Working as part of the Technical Support team, you will deliver expert product guidance, troubleshoot technical issues, and support field activities. This role combines office-based technical support with occasional customer site visits, workshop activities, and participation in training and industry events.## Key Responsibilities* Provide technical support to installers, dealers, and customers via telephone and email.* Manage the Technical Support inbox, ensuring enquiries are responded to accurately and within agreed service levels.* Investigate technical issues and produce detailed technical reports and recommendations.* Carry out customer site visits to provide on-site technical support and resolve product-related issues.* Prepare documentation and paperwork required for invoicing site visits.* Perform hands-on technical work within the workshop, including product inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis when required.* Participate in the Technical Support on-call phone rota to provide out-of-hours assistance as required.* Support the preparation and delivery of PP Technical Training sessions.* Assist with the setup, maintenance, and operation of technical display equipment for exhibitions, demonstrations, and customer events.* Maintain accurate technical records and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical support processes.* Work collaboratively with internal departments, including Service, Sales, Training, and Product Management, to deliver effective customer solutions.* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.## What You'll Bring* Experience in a technical support, service engineering, or HVAC-related role.* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.* Excellent customer service and communication skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Good report writing and documentation skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for customer site visits when required.* A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support. **Pay Range**The annual salary for this position is between £24,785.00-£49,420.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. **Other Compensation**This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements. **Benefits**We offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well‐being programs.
