We are seeking a Service Sales Manager to drive aftermarket sales growth and strengthen customer relationships across the UK. This role focuses on spare parts, accessories, retrofit solutions, and service sales while enhancing market coverage and customer satisfaction. The position combines commercial, technical, and customer service responsibilities and operates under general supervision, managing moderately complex business and customer scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and exceed spare parts and accessories sales targets in terms of revenue, margin, and volume.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Service Partner Management, parts personnel, Key Retail Customer Accounts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve market coverage and increase spare parts turnover.
  • Manage local remanufacturing programs and nominated suppliers.
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels for retail customers in coordination with Service Partner Management.
  • Prepare and provide regular reports on spare parts and accessories forecasts, performance, and market activity.
  • Manage aftermarket retrofit options programs to further expand service offerings.
  • Analyse the current Carrier Transicold parts portfolio and its competitive positioning in the market.
  • Identify grey market challenges and develop targeted action plans to capture this business.
  • Provide customers with accurate technical information related to spare parts and service solutions.
  • Develop and execute spare parts promotional campaigns aligned with local management strategy.
  • Serve as the primary spare parts point of contact for retail customers.
  • Collaborate with CTUK and CTE CRC parts departments to support and drive regional and global programs.
  • Support updates to contract marketing brochures for Service Partners, customers, and Key Account Managers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and electronic channels and resolve moderately complex issues.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret customer interaction data to identify trends and recommend service process improvements.
  • Develop documentation to support the resolution of complex customer issues and complaints.
  • Coordinate with sales, production, shipping, and warehouse teams to expedite orders and resolve delivery issues.
  • Manage inventory to prevent surplus or obsolete stock at third-party warehouses and CTUK.
  • Support the development and enhancement of parts ordering IT systems for retail customers.
  • Maintain accurate activity and opportunity records within Salesforce.
  • Anticipate exceptional requirements to support improvement initiatives or safety-related rectification work.
  • Provide aftersales support for assigned customer contracts.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in service sales, aftermarket operations, or customer service.
  • Strong theoretical to advanced professional knowledge supported by practical experience.
  • Working knowledge of Carrier organization, programs, and systems.
