Role: Project Manager (Modernisation team)

Carrier now has an opportunity for a Modernisation Project Manager, based in the London area. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of complex refurbishment, modernisation, and turnkey projects across the UK. The role is accountable for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and mobilisation through execution, commissioning, completion, and post-project review. The role requires strong leadership, project management, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills, with a particular focus on coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.
What will you be doing?
- Lead and manage site teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to deliver project objectives efficiently
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources, and coordinate activities to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, sales, and operational service teams
- Monitor progress, provide regular project updates and reports to management and stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, expenditures, and report on financial performance, including accurate forecasting and target margin delivery
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks. Adjust plans as needed to minimise disruptions and ensure project continuity.
Requirements
- Proven years’ experience in project management, preferably in HVAC, or construction related industry in similar building environments
- Ideally have knowledge of HVACR or similar industry
- Experience managing refurbishment, modernisation, construction, or turnkey projects.
- Experience using MS Project or similar project scheduling software. AutoCAD experience is desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
- UK Driving Licence
The role involves regular travel to project and customer sites across the UK. IT Literate with MS Office skills.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between 34,500.00-69,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
