The Sales Support Assistant will provide sales, customer service, and administrative support to UK and Export spare parts customers. This role is critical in ensuring efficient order processing, accurate customer communication, and smooth day-to-day sales operations. Working under immediate supervision, the role supports all aspects of Sales Support activities, including order management, customer queries, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Order Management: Handle customer enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate parts, pricing, and availability information using ERP systems and internal tools. Process UK and Export customer orders in a timely manner, including issuing order acknowledgements. Manage customer return requests and issue return authorisation notes.
- Invoicing & Export Documentation: Raise manual credit notes and invoices as required. Prepare export shipment documentation, including commercial invoices and certificates of origin.
- Reporting & Administration: Produce and share regular reports with customers, including backlog and shipment updates. Carry out general administrative duties such as filing, archiving, and ad hoc office support.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Comply with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, including PPE and reporting protocols.
