As an Area Sales Manager in the Service team, you will be responsible for the growth of the reoccurring revenue account base. This account base is also known as service agreement customers.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, research, and qualify potential customers utilising Carrier's equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor sites.
- Make effective sales presentations, conduct customer needs assessment, answer questions and secure new customer maintenance agreements.
- Establish customer rapport and effective questioning techniques to identify the prospect's needs, budget, decisionâmaking process, timeline, and next steps.
- Perform site surveys and facility walkthroughs to identify equipment and site conditions in order to evaluate customer needs and create proposals for maintenance agreements, remedial works and promoting Carrier aftermarket services.
- Utilize applicable sales tools such as Salesforce to track and effectively develop an active backlog of sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations to deliver quality results on Maintenance Agreements and resolve customer issues.

Qualifications
- Strong service sales background.
- Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC or HeatâPump marketplace is a bonus or demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to make calls to prospective customers, handle customer inquiries and develop these into project wins and new revenue for the business.
- UK Driving Licence.
- IT Literate with MS Office skills.
