Toshiba Air Conditioning, a part of TCUK is currently recruiting for a Pre-Sales DX/VRF Apprentice. The main goal of this role is to learn and understand the air conditioning industry with the aim of being able to support our Regional Sales Manager’s and customers with selections, design and quotes.
Off the job training will include?

One day a week at college to achieve Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Building Services Design Technician (ST0063)

Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment.

Year 4: End Point Assessment
What will you be doing?
On the Job training with your mentor, learning how to:
-
Processing requests via email /Phone
-
Supporting both our internal Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and external customers

Assisting with the selection and quotation of HVAC equipment
-
Reviewing drawings and specification documents with the aim of producing our own valued engineered solution

Reviewing competitors quotes and producing a similar quote
-
Following a project through its various stages and offering project design support

Support the RSM’s with basic technical answers

Implement continuous improvements to the process and cost opportunities

Interface with RSM/Customers and deal with queries for price and availability, * You will be offered an internal sales support role or external sales role. Your preference is normally decided at the start of year 3.

Subject to successful completion of EPA an invitation to register with the Instition of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Engineering Council as EngTech member.
