Carrier now has an opportunity for an Area Sales Manager (Service), focusing on the North West region, particularly Liverpool and Manchester. You will be responsible for growing the recurring revenue account base, also known as service agreement customers.

What will I be doing?

  • Prospect, research, and qualify potential customers using Carrier’s equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor sites.
  • Make effective sales presentations, conduct customer needs assessments, answer questions, and secure new customer maintenance agreements.
  • Establish customer rapport and use effective questioning techniques to identify needs, budget, decision-making process, timeline, and next steps.
  • Perform site surveys and facility walkthroughs to identify equipment and site conditions, evaluate customer needs, and create proposals for maintenance agreements.
  • Utilize sales tools such as Salesforce to track and develop an active backlog of sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure quality results on Maintenance Agreements and resolve customer issues.

  • Strong service sales background
  • Familiarity with the Chiller, HVAC, or Heat-Pump marketplace is a bonus, or demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make calls to prospective customers, handle inquiries, and convert them into project wins and revenue.
  • UK Driving Licence
  • IT literacy with MS Office skills
