The role plays a key part in driving business growth by proactively engaging with new and existing B2B customers while working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The position supports lead generation, opportunity development, and ongoing account activity while acting as a central link between sales, marketing, operations, and customers.
A core focus of the role is to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including installers, contractors, distributors, and wholesalers, acting as a trusted point of contact and identifying opportunities to support sales growth and long-term partnerships.
As a Sales Development Representative you'll be responsible for:
- Daily collaboration for lead and opportunity handover or follow up, regional knowledge, information exchange, and support.
- Collaboration on lead generation campaigns, marketing campaigns, identified opportunities from customer events.
- Handling complex product queries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Order tracking, deliveries, and stock availability.
- Invoicing and credit control queries.
To be successful in the role, you should:
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess previous experience in business development and cold calling (B2B).
- Be resilient, adaptable, with attention to details.
- Learn quickly and understand technical product information related to heating and cooling systems to support cross- and up-selling.
- Have good command of computer / MS Office.
- Collaborate effectively and support the objectives of the external sales team.
- Work independently, take initiative, and manage your own workload efficiently.
- Speak fluent English.
