Carrier now has an opportunity for a HVAC Sales Engineer based in the North West area. You will be responsible for driving sales growth of HVAC products and solutions, combining engineering knowledge with customer-facing sales activities. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and end-users to design and recommend systems that meet client needs.
What will I be doing as a Sales Engineer?
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the HVAC sector and grow the sales in conjunction with our direct sales teams.
- Build and maintain relationships primarily with contractors but also engage with consultants and end users.
- Assist clients with system design and troubleshooting.
- Target and identify new/potential direct account customers (End User’s, Public Bodies, Installers, M&E) &/or specification accounts (Consultants).
- Collaborate with vertical and key accounts teams, order management teams and project managers for smooth project delivery.
- Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of HVAC industry.
- Strong sales background in HVAC dealing with associated installing contractors & M&E’s &/or specification consultants.
- Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and equipment.
- Competitor knowledge.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- UK Driving Licence.
- IT Literate with MS Office skills.
