This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries.

This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Delivering palletised goods to regional distribution centres across England and Wales
  • Collecting palletised stock from local/regional suppliers
  • Trunking stock to and from other Culina group sites
  • Driving for top-tier clients with limited handball
  • Occasionally sleeping overnight in a vehicle (with generous allowances)

Qualifications

  • Valid C+E Licence.
  • Current valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
  • Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
  • Live within a 30-mile commutable distance of the site (BS11 0YH).
  • Newly qualified Class 1 drivers will be considered if you show the right attitude and willingness to learn, and have previous experience driving large vehicles.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.
  • Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
  • Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
  • Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.

On top of a permanent, full-time role with guaranteed hours, our drivers also have the opportunity to boost their earning potential through a range of additional premiums and rewards, including:

  • £1,000/year for working every Saturday or Sunday
  • £2,000/year if you work both
  • £10 per shift (starts between 12:00-19:59)
  • £15 per shift (starts between 20:00-03:59)
