London | Leading International Banking Group
I'm currently partnering with a leading international banking group to recruit a Vice President within its Exposure Management team, focusing on the management and oversight of a portfolio of Project Finance transactions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project finance professional to take ownership of complex lending exposures, apply strong credit judgement and work closely with internal stakeholders, clients and external advisers across a diverse portfolio.
The Role
As Vice President, you will play a key role in the ongoing management of a portfolio of Project Finance transactions, with responsibilities including:
- Managing and monitoring a portfolio of project finance loans, including complex transactions and counterparty exposures.
- Conducting detailed credit analysis, reviewing financial statements, project finance models, technical reports and due diligence materials.
- Assessing and processing waiver requests, amendments and variations to existing facilities.
- Preparing credit applications, monitoring credit grades and maintaining effective credit surveillance.
- Overseeing covenant compliance, loan documentation, KYC requirements and associated portfolio administration.
- Supporting the management of distressed exposures, restructurings and workouts where required.
- Working closely with Credit, Syndications, Legal, Operations, Origination teams and external advisers.
- Identifying emerging risks, market developments and potential refinancing or new business opportunities across the portfolio.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in Project Finance, ideally within a banking, credit or structured finance environment.
- A solid understanding of credit risk, financial analysis and project finance lending structures.
- Experience reviewing financial models, credit applications, loan documentation, covenants and waiver requests.
- The ability to assess complex transactions, identify potential risks and exercise sound commercial judgement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging with clients, advisers and senior colleagues.
