A leading international bank is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Corporate Finance professional to join its Corporate Finance Solutions Group (CSG) in London. This team provides corporate finance advisory input and technical analysis to non‐financial clients across EMEA, working closely with relationship bankers and product specialists globally.

The Role

  • Produce high‐quality technical and financial analysis, including advanced financial modelling (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow).
  • Support broader corporate finance workstreams such as credit ratings, debt capacity, capital structure, M&A implications, disposals, IPO considerations, and risk management.
  • Design and deliver customer‐facing materials in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Conduct sector and peer analysis with a focus on Industrials and Automotive.
  • Work cross‐functionally with teams across corporate banking and product groups to gather insights and drive solutions.
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

About You

  • Strong numerical and financial skills with proven experience interpreting complex financial information.
  • Expertise in forward‐looking corporate financial models.
  • Ability to link capital structure with financial projections to derive actionable corporate finance solutions.
  • Confidence in transforming conceptual ideas into robust analytical outputs and client materials.
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal—and comfort engaging with senior bankers across regions and sectors.
  • Understanding of capital structure components, including senior and junior debt.
  • Experience applying rating agency methodologies and engaging with rating agencies.
