We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, welcoming team, to provide support for pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan. The successful candidate will have the skills to work alongside the class teacher and SENCo to ensure that the children are accessing the curriculum and making positive progress with their emotional development and their academic learning.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- You will have GCSE qualifications in maths and English at a grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
- You will have previous experience of working with children.
- You’ll ideally have worked with children who have SEND.
- We are looking for someone who is calm, caring and consistent in their approach, who is committed to maintaining our high standards and wants to make a difference.
- You should be willing to 'go the extra mile’ to better the life chances of our children.
The role will also involve supervising children over the lunchtime period.
