Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a Specialist Flooring Contractor based in Essex who are seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Estimator / Surveyor to join their successful team. The company is well established and family run, with a superb reputation and client loyalty that sees them in a really strong trading position.

They have experience working in a myriad of environments; from classrooms to operating theatres to bomb disposal sites. They carry out Commercial Works and Residential Works, therefore seeking someone with an excellent all-round knowledge and experience of Estimating for Flooring Contracts. Traditional Commercial and MOD Residential and Communal areas are a big part of the business which require accurate Surveys to be carried out ahead of works commencing.

The role will take you across the South Eastern UK and comes with a company vehicle. Our clients work across all material types: Carpets, Carpet Tiles, Resin Flooring Applications, Vinyl, Linoleum and LVT, so knowledge of these will be required as well as what sits below in terms of preparation products.

They are seeking an experienced Estimator who can carry out the following tasks:

  • Visit Sites to Carry Out Surveys and Estimates.
  • A mix of time spent on Site and in the Office formulating Quotations and Following Up.
  • Prepare Costings and Estimates.
  • Complete Tenders as required, though this is not a key element of the role as our clients have long-term well-established works on behalf of their clients.
  • Accurately work out costs.
  • Source Materials and Labour at competitive rates.
  • Client liaison and Sales / Business Development activity as required both as part of your day-to-day role and with an eye to future opportunities to grow the company order books.

In return, our clients are offering a competitive (Negotiable) Salary package plus Company Vehicle and the opportunity to work in a secure and prosperous environment. The role would suit a Retail Estimator looking to move into Commercial / Contract Work or perhaps ex-Fitter types looking for an opportunity to use their skills and knowledge “off their knees”.

For Immediate Consideration please forward your CV via the “Apply Here” Link on this page, or, for a confidential discussion call Justin Kelly on 01562 800071.
