Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients who are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our clients team in Hartlebury, near Kidderminster, specialising in flooring solutions for commercial and New Build Customer Base. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient management of stock and logistics while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. You will play a crucial role in optimising our supply chain processes and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching flooring products.
  • Liaising Daily with Carpet and Flooring Fitters, ensuring Products are cut and packed ready for them to collect.
  • Organising Fitters compliance on Transport / Vans (Including check on maintenance and weights).
  • Occasionally required to run delivery to Sites.
  • Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure high performance.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track stock levels and minimise discrepancies.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and transport companies to coordinate timely deliveries and shipments.
  • Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, including stock levels, order fulfilment rates, and staff productivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within the flooring or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.

Nice to Have:

  • Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse machinery.
  • Familiarity with flooring products and their handling requirements.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced logistics environment.
