Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be working with a new Leicestershire based client who are seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Contract Manager to work on Flooring Jobs in and around Leicestershire and the wider East Mids Region from their offices near Hinckley. The Company specialise in supplying and installing a wide range of commercial flooring solutions across the Midlands and surrounding areas, working with house builders, commercial contractors and developers on projects of all sizes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing flooring projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Managing multiple flooring projects simultaneously
- Organising labour, materials and site programmes
- Liaising with clients, site managers and suppliers
- Carrying out site visits and quality inspections
- Ensuring health & safety compliance
- Managing project costs and variations
- Resolving on-site issues efficiently and professionally
- Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the flooring industry
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of commercial flooring installation processes and standards
- Your own sub-contractor fitter contacts
- CSCS Card
- NVQ or professional qualification
