Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their Clients, a leading East Mids based Commercial Flooring and Tiling Specialist Contractors with significant growth over the last few years in their search for some additional Key Personnel, in this instance we are seeking a Project Manager to oversee Works in their Tiling Division.

Our Clients are a well established Commercial Flooring and Tiling Specialist Contractor, based south of Leicester near Hinckley and offer a comprehensive package of Commercial Flooring and Tiling Solutions and serve a broad client base and have, over the decade or so they have been operating gone from strength to strength and are now in a rapid period of growth.

Job Summary

Our Clients are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Tiling Project Manager to join our clients team in Leicestershire. This permanent, full-time position involves overseeing tiling projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of tiling processes and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of tiling projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the tiling or construction industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of Tiling and Sub Floor Preparation is key too.
  • Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisation and Admin Skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management or construction (e.g., NVQ, SMSTS, CSCS Manager Card etc).

Working Environment

This position is based in Leicestershire, with site visits required as part of the role around the Midlands and up to the Northern Region (Manchester to the West and Leeds to the East) some occasional travel further afield may also be necessary as part of this role. The working environment is dynamic and may involve working outdoors on construction sites. A commitment to health and safety practices is essential and will be a big part of your remit.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience). Benefits package includes Pension etc. Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
